	"We are currently in the midst of upgrading all of the 3rd party controls that we utilize in our projects. Some of the projects are in mid-development, and already have older versions of those controls referenced. While some of the upgrades are causing us major headaches and some serious recoding, the upgrade from Spread 3 to Spread 6 could not have gone more smoothly or painlessly. Version 6 is completely compatible with version 3, and the upgrade did not involve changing even one single line of code. In fact, we were able to upgrade 2 major software projects from Spread 3 to Spread 6 in about 5 hours. Thinking back over the 2 years that we've been using Spread, it occurs to me that we have never had a single problem with Farpoint, from the sales staff, to the support staff, to the products themselves. 	"I recently upgraded to Spread 3 from version 2, and I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am for your product."

	"I've been working on a project in VB5/SQL Server 6.5, and I'd been doing all my report output in HTML and sending it to a browser. For most of my reports, this is just fine, since formatting for the printer isn't critical. But I have several reports that need to print on pre-printed forms, so this obviously won't do. I bought Crystal Reports for this purpose, but I found that I had to subvert the report logic in order to do it the way CR wants it done in their reporting tool. I have an Invoice report to write, which is fairly complex, and I was soon tearing my hair out. So I decided to try sending the Invoice data to a Spread ActiveX control. This way I'm able to have total control over the report logic in VB, and I was able to place the output into precisely formatted rows and columns on the spread control. I am there! It prints like a champ. With the .PrintPageStart and .PrintPageEnd properties, I can even collate and do multiple copies per page. I have a new project coming up in a few months, and I just might dump Crystal Reports altogether and use Spread (in addition to using it all over the rest of my app wherever I need a grid control). Thanks for an excellent product. "
